i just traded my first honda. it was a 1991 honda crx for a 1991 hatch. the hatch is fully stock and i want to build a motor for it. this will be my first motor build and i just want some pointers from you guys that have done this before. i have a b18b1 in my garage now on a engine stand but ive been reading alot about b20s the car is going to have to be a daily driver so i dont want anything crazy. any suggestions on what i should do. im have 3000 to spend and that buying everything for the swap too.

my advice...some good quality bolt ons, some mild suspension and just make it a fun car

^ +1. get intake, exhaust, header, intake mani, throttle body and get it tuned. also get suspension n u should be under the $3k mark and it will be a fun car to drive

ok thanks if i already have a ls bock should i just start my build with that or will it be worth finding a b20 and build that... pic coming soon of the car. thanks again for all the help

the only big difference between the two blocks is displacement. but if u already have an ls block and its in good shape just keep that.
