Picked up an '86 CRX!!!!!! I'm excited. Anyway, I'm thinking out my swap options here.

LS-found a great deal on an LS swap, but the mounts are uber expensive to make it fit,and the wiring scares me? I'd have to pay someone to wire her up.

Other option my co-worker was telling me about doing a single vtec or single non-vtec,and running webber carbs,or just throwing the ECU/wiring it up (paying someone.)

Its carb'd now, so I --think-- a D series should 'bolt in' , no?

Car is an automatic.

Check out the EA section of ht. And I think there is an EA specific site.

this is what i found:
The first generation ZC will bolt into the 1st generation CRX. The 1g ZC is basically the same as the D16A in the 86-89 Integra--which will also bolt-in. You will also need the transmission and other various parts from the Integra donor.
there is a carbureted version of the ZC available.

this is about how to put a D series in:
