if you have a 88 prelude, those b-series motors are not the same as the b-series motors in civics/integra's... the prelude b-series are junk, they cannot handle really any upgrades and i would not recommend doing any modifictaions to it...just get rid of it and put an h22 in it

So you put a vtec ecu on a non vtec motor? What did you think it was going to give it vtec? Maybe you should first look into how vtec works.

Definitely go back to your stock ECU and if you're trying to go fast... get rid of the Prelude. If anything get a newer Prelude. 88-91's were kinda the redheaded stepchild. Even though they're cool as hell...

PROPERLY BLEED YOUR COOLING SYSTEM...TURN YOUR FAN OFF. HEAT SELECT ON MAX POSITION. CRACK YOUR COOLANT BLEED SCREWTOP UP RAD SO COOLANT COMES OUT OF BLEED SCREW AND CRACK SHUT. RUN MOTOR WITH RAD CAP OFF TO PURGE ENGINE.1-5 MIN THEN PUT CAP BACK ON... YOU HAVE TO TURN HEAT SELECT ON MAX TO OPEN UP HEATER CORE IF NOT YOU WILL GET AIR POCKETS TRAPPED IN THERE AND NOT RESOLVE YOUR PROBLEM
