Hey,need help with a stock B18A1 motor with 250,000 miles.Replaced plugs, fuel filter.Has good fuel pressure, timing right on.Had to raise idle to 1200+ because car stumbled or died when stepped on hard at dead stop. Also was hard to start, especialy cold.Car seemed to be flooding, had to hold throttle open a little.New fuel pressure regulater helped but still a pain.Still stumbles or dies when i floor it but does usually restart.Car is a 91 Integra.Any ideas?

fitv and iacv, check that they arent dirty and that the fitv hasnt worked itself loose, unbolt it from under your tb and swing it down on the coolant lines, unbolt the plate from the end and stick a putty knife or use two screwdrivers into the valve, tighten the cream colored plug so that it is snug. then as for the iacv, thats located on the back of the intake manifold, unbolt the two bolts and and the coolant lines, then take the "oo" ring off and spray carb cleaner into the two holes they surounded, NOT THE COOLANT HOLES, let it soke the blow compressed air into the holes, repeat the soak and blow, then let it sit for about an hour to air dry. reasemble making sure the "oo" ring isnt pinched, that should help with the slugishness and idle, try this and resetting your idle back to 750

Had a customer car that idle low and hard to start. Changed the main relay fixed the problem.
