Finally a place us non v-tec heads can talk dirt!! I saved my Lude from ending up a casualty of morons trying to "tune" without any real skill in doing so!!! I rescued her from a future with no wheels perched on cinder blocks!! now I'm proud to say this it the best car I have ever had and was well worth the blood, sweat, and money. I have the h23a1 5spd, and have been eager to talk to other Luders' or honda heads with practical insight and know how into how to built this platform for power the right way. If anyone has any a mildly built H23 sleeper, please hit me up so I can get a better sense for what really works well, and what doesn't. Ive got the usual header, aem intake, bigger exhaust thing done already. I've done all the delete mods I can under the hood too, but the more the merrier!! I would really appreciate feedback on experiences from upgrading IM's,head work, aftermarket pully systems,RC injector upgrades, the whole nine!!! My goal is to keep My SI super clean, and low key. I want whats under the hood to in the end to be the perfect blend of street performance, and bolt on performance that really works. So hit me up people!! peace K

Welcome to the site. I would suggest skip the pulley upgrades, they do more harm than good. You are better off investing in a adjustable cam gear, just in case you want to tune the timing without having to take the whole thing apart. If you are looking to do head work, get a port and polish while you are in there, and just to be safe get some good quality rod bolts for your bottom end, like ARP, to hold the that thing together, its the weak point. Post up some pics of your ride!

thanks guys, Ive heard mixed reviews regarding pully's(mostly negative!)so thats off the table. the port and polish job would be ideal!! and when the money is right it will be done. I dont have a huge detailed understanding of cams/gear upgrades, timing advancement, etc. Ive started alittle later than most people on the tuning scene, but I'm not afraid to ask what I dont know, so Im sure I will have plenty to run by everyone here!! I will get pics up when I get some time too! thanks for the welcome guys.... peace K
