Hello i have a b20b with a p8r head, crower cams etc.
My question is do these motors run this hot? the temperature gauge says im ok but the motor is HOT, especially by the valvetrain. Also, valve train is a little ticky, think i need to have the valves adjusted. Car needs to be retuned because it runs lean in the top end, however the motor becomes this hot even when staying in low rpms and stoich. thanks for the help in advance.

if you want...you can put a mugen thermostat switch on ur thermostat...i did it to mine cuz it was running a little hotter than what i wanted...OEM thermostats also run a little cooler compared to aftermarket ones
