i've always had good luck with ACT and Exedy and the stage 1's are pretty cheap. get a lighter flywheel while ur at it too.

also whats the difference between stage 1, 2 and 3 clutches and does it matter which one I get for my stock transmission and flywheel ? do I have to do some mods if I get a stage 2 or 3 clutch ?

Difference between stages can be different between manufacturers. It could be higher whp/tq capabilities, clutch friction materials or design. Some are sprung (smoother operation and engagement) some are unsprung (no holds barred engagement)

You asked if you need to do some mods if you get a stage 2 or 3. Question is do you have the mods to require a stage 2 or 3. IMO if you have a stock engine you don't need a stage 2 or 3. A lot of times they just make things harder than they need to be.

yea if ur just going to do basic bolt ons dont go higher than stage 2. also, just look at the specs for each clutch cuz most will give hp and trq #'s. get the one that best fits your goals.
