Im not sure what i should do, thought I would post and get some advice. I can get a full 99 ls swap with 130xxx miles for 1,000 dollars. Im not sure if the motor runs or not.The motor is in the car but cant mess with it until I buy it. They want 2000 for the whole car but I have the shell sold for 1000 and i was going to pay 1000 for the swap. There's know signs of the motor blown up by looks everything looks good. The oil also looked clean. My question is should I get the swap. Thanks for the advice.

1000 for a full swap is decent...i would try to get it for like 800 or so

why would someone sell a motor and not let the buyer test out the motor. Sounds fishy

^ a lot of ppl do that... personally, i like buying a motor from a distributor or a shop, cuz then i know its good

I actually bought the car and got the car home and was taking the exhaust manifold off and noticed a hole in the block from the rod. That's why they didn't want me fooling around with it. I got the swap for 800 + tax.
