goes to show you that you dont need a 2.0 to do 200whp and realizing this showed me I shouldn't have turboed my motor, so there will be a future 1.8l nonvtec build for me

Read that thread in its entirety.
Quote:
90-93 US B18A, Ported B18A head (not P8R, haven't even seen one), JDM P73's 81.25mm, -.048" off head, .005" off block, Crower .5mm oversize intake and exhaust valves, springs, retainers, 62404's, unported Skunk Pro Series intake manifold, Skunk 68mm T/B, 1st gen Spoon cam gears, 23" long 2.75" intake(underhood), Hondata S300, MSD Blaster SS external coil, stock Type-R injectors, Walbro 255hp pump, B&M regulator, 70 psi rail pressure, 2.5" exhaust, no cat, driven daily for the last 39,000 miles (car has 269k on it). For what its worth we tried a JDM DC header on it (which is what most people are using) and it lost power everywhere, especially from 4-4,800 rpm (-17 ft-lbs at 4,500) and a solid 5 ft-lbs everywhere after, compared to a DC 2 piece 4-2-1 small collector for a 90-93 Integra. Just goes to show that just because it works on a T/R doesn't mean it's going to work on everything!!!!

hey i have personally met the guy at the track at union grove...really nice guy gave me a lot of insight on non-vtec builds...the reason joeteg91 prolly only got as much as he did is from the port and polish work...he told me that the ports on it basically look like a b16 head that has been p&p...he said he put around 2-3 thousand into the head alone...just some insight on the build...but it f*ckin badass in person

Hey, the chart is mine, I honestly think the big difference with this motor vs. others is the cylinder head. The only big difference between mine and a stock head is that I had over sized seats installed and I ported it. I am only running .5mm oversize valves, but the enlarged o.d. of the seats allowed me to open up the i.d. of the seat to what a B16 is, without taking the chance of the seats falling out. I paid $600 for the seat install, and I have somewhere between $2k-$3k invested in the whole project, thanks.

Wow. That's quite a build! I wonder what it would do at 86mm bore...
