whats up guys, always cool joining new forums and meeting crazy gearheads from all over. My names vinny, im from the Columbia River Gorge near Portland, OR. Not new to hondas, but this is my first ground up turbo build, just leaned towards LS motors because of the low cost and high availability. picked up a 97 B18B1 for 100 bucks! complete as they come, intake mani, injectors, dizzy, and all. from pan to valve cover. it had 167k on it, i seen and heard it run, it smoked a lil and consumed a quart every few weeks... bad rings but doesnt matter, im gonna tear into her and completely rebuild for a turbo EG project. first turbo motor ive built, im really excited to play with boost, lol, sick of my buddies wrx pulling on my N/A hondas. anyways.... good to be here.
