hey everyone just as the title says i have some adjustable cam gears and wanted to know if any one has put them on stock cams and if it is worth the time and effort for the little bit of power it is going to give
or should i wait till i get some cams ,springs and retainers to do it all at the same time

If it's going to be awhile before you upgrade valvetrain, then go ahead and play around with the gears. The gains will be minimal, so if you are going to upgrade soon, just wait to do it all at once.

I have stock valvetrain on my H and a set of cam gears installed. I wanted an excuse to play with overlap and learn a bit more about cam timing, so I went with it.

IMO it would be a headache for next to no gain. You could shift your powerband around but probably not get any notable overall increase. With a nice set of cams/valvetrain though it's an important part of tuning and extracting the most of your other investments.

No sense in having to buy two timing belts or take it out of time twice. I would just wait other than looking cool they won't really give you enough of a gain to justify the work on stock cams.

if your going to get big cams then yes its better to have them with good compression level but if yur not going 2 go all out and have mild cams then no. but if so skunk2 or buddy club pro series cam gears
