hi guys i came across the forum when i googled d15b7.....which i guess is a good thing because i'll prolly be needing some advice/info from you guys.

well anyway here is my car, a 90 crx si with about 260,000 miles on her.
the d16 uses about 1qt. of oil every 250 miles so......
i just bought a d15b7 from a friend to put in the car while i had the d16a6 out.
i do have a few questions before all the pictures happen,

1. if you had a d16a6 and a d15b7 sitting in the garage how would you put them together before putting back in the car....i.e. d15 with a6 cam and a6 intake manifold......etc......
iam just looking to get the best out of having to replace the motor.

2. should i just put the d15 in and not worry about even messing with it while i rebuild the d16?

ok here are just a couple random pics of my car......if more are wanted i will post....but for now i need
ADVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok... now some pics of my car.

i payed $900 for the car, and no i was just gonna use the d16 intake manifold on the d15 so i didnt have to worry with swapping sensors.......

does anyone foresee any problems with putting the d15 in using the d16 sensors?

ok this might sound like a dumb question but i have to ask this.

ok if you put d16a6 spec rods and pistons in a d15b7 block with the d16a6 head would it be a 1.6 litre?

( i get payed on the 28th of every month)
because iam gonna rebuild my d16a6 thats in my crx after i build the d15b7....

i live way down south in a little place called dothan,al.
and yeah i just didnt want to do a swap or anything that would mean i would have to cut on my car to put anything in......i LOVE my crx! i just couldnt cut her up!
and i love when people look under the hood and see a D,and there like "oh it's just a turbo d15", "theres nothing to worry about" it's always under rated.
