i woke up this morning with a little something on my mind. and i do seriously beleive this worked. i gutted my converter. so i did that went straight to the track tonight. first run 15.5. consistant the whole night pretty much except were i missed gears on a couple runs. now last time i went to the track. my best was 15.7. i had lots of people telling me gutting the converter would hurt my top end. i think different. not to much of a power gain or a big deal. but im very happy with it. not to mention that the not so honda people come to me asking if im spraying nitrous or if im forced induction. with their 18 second crx's and hatches. well here is my best tonight.

agaist one of the newest civic i-vtec's think its a 06 or something like that.

me--------------------------civic
r/t------.003----------------.358
60------2.323---------------2.624
330-----6.364---------------6.891
1/8-----9.932----------------10.279
mph----70.86----------------72.83
1000---12.943---------------13.180
1/4-----15.509---------------15.642
mph----88.05-----------------92.08

i think im doing pretty good for what i have.

Definitely try some stickier tires, possibly DR's.

That's cool. At least you get to head to the track, I've been too busy working and working on cars to even attempt to go. But that's good you getting the numbrs down.

yeah i been working on cars myself ij have a great ball of confusion going on right now. to confussing to type out. to be short i pulled 5 motors in 2 days. have to put 4 in different cars. plus switch trannys around.. this is how confussing

91green crx si with ls and tranny
91yellow crx si with gsr. ls tranny
91 civic hatch d15 vtec with cable tranny
94 civic with ls hydro gsr tranny
98 civic stock engine of course hydro tranny.

the motor and tranny from the green si is going into the yellow

the motor from the 91 civic hatch is going into the 94 civic with the tranny from the 98.

the gsr from the yellow is going into the 98 with the tranny from the 94.

the ls from the 94 is going into the 91 civic hatch with the tranny from the yellow.

the stock motor from the 98 is sold

so at the end
98 with gsr swap
91 civic hatch with ls swap
yellow si with ls swap
94 civic with d15 vtec
the green si with nothing. just a 88-91 cable tranny.
confussing????????????
lol
