Hey Nathan you're in the NC area aren't you? I'm in the upper east TN area, Johnson City to be exact. You're about a 4 hour drive for me. Surely to God we can get some kinda East coast meet going on. Lets hear from anyone who might be interested.

That is true. I think as the site keeps growing its something to think about in the future. I was supposed to goto an integra forum meet not too long ago,and it seems to currently have alot more people in local area and the turnout from the pics was like, maybe 10 cars?

since Nathan lives in the Raleigh area it would be about a 5 to 5 1/2 hour drive from Johnson City. I live in the Charlotte area so i would be up for a meet if someone wants to take the time to organize it. with Nathan having all his business projects going on he does not have much free time. lately he is too busy to talk to an old friend. :x

Yahoo maps says its a 4 hour 8 minute drive and I drive well above the posted limits.LOL I made it to Charlotte in 3 and a half hours for the Warped Tour. I think we can do this. If attendance is gonna be an Issue lets start recruiting members :D

3 1/2 hours to Charlotte is as long as it should take. a few months ago when i drove to Raleigh from Gastonia i averaged just over 98 mph and it took 2 hours which doing 5-10 over the speed limit usually takes 2 1/2-3 hours. on average from Asheville it takes about 3 1/2 hours to get to Raleigh. I agree we should do a meet around the NC area. i am not sure of who would do the planning. Sometime i don't see how Nathan sleeps. anybody up for planning a meet i know of a few people that would be there.

I can plan. Let me check on a few things and get a few more people on this wagon to see about a common ground area.

when my brother, and i stilled lived in Black Mountain we gave up our driveway at home quite a few nights for that kid to work on his cars. the 6 hour project that turned into a 3 day project was the best. now that same car has been down for close to 1 year in his driveway in Raleigh. just have to give an old friend a hard time.

actually my work schedule never works out when he has any free time to talk to.

it does not take much for another car on here to be faster then mine. i am not going to do anything to it. when i finish college i am buying a house, truck, and race car. i decided not to put anymore money into it unless i have to so i can keep in good running condition until i am done with school.

Sweet keep them coming guys. The way I see it if we have between 35 and 50 we have a pretty good sized event and I want to be able to have a few events too.

if you have any questions or anything let me know. i can help out a little bit but no way i can plan the whole thing with my work and class schedule. maybe we should start a thread asking who will be there and find maybe 5 different cities that could be appropriate and make a poll for which city would be best for the majority to make it too. i know i would vote the Raleigh area or something like that.

That could work, but I was thinking of a city that might have a Drag strip we could possibly rent out for a night. I don't know if Raleigh has one but if it does then that would be awesome. I know there is one in Bristol, TN and one in Lexington, KY. If we could get a drag strip we would have enough room to have a place for a car show and if everybody wanted to race they could do it. I know that Bristol has plenty of hotel accommodations to support everyone. I can do a little more research on possible places when I get more people ready for it.

Bristol would work for me. i know i would not get out and race though. trying to get the car to last me another 2 years minimum. the closet drag strip to Raleigh would be in Fayetteville. and the closet drag strip to Charlotte would be in Mooresville.

Well I have some connections at Bristol cause I race there all of the time. Let me see what I can do. I posted up on Honda-tech in the LS-T Thread too. I thought that might help boost the population over here.
