u should convert to obd1 so u can be tuned cuz all tuning software is geared towards obd1

ummm no and why can't i tune with turbo edit ? wide-band first then ill worry about a tune .. no need to convert to obd1 pointless since so many are boosted with obd0 ... i guess i would spice into the ecu with any wideband ? i don't wana pay 200 bucks for something that won't work thus me asking if anyone has a obd0 boosted integra they tell me what they bought wide band wise and i would "pose" and buy the same thing (better a poser then sorry )

im just saying every tuning software that an actual tuning shop is going to use to make great, reliable power is obd1. i.e Hondata, ECtune, Crome, Uberdata, AEM and so on. u may be able to use turbo edit, but i garuantee you it wouldnt have nearly as many options and as much support as these systems and for $200/300 y not. just my .02. GL with whatever u decide. :super

I agree with mr spooner. All good tuning shops are using OBD1 tuning programs. OBD0 tuning is old school and not nearly controllable as OBD1. I run Hondata and will never use anything else, the control is awesome. As for a wide band O2 the AEM one is the best and most accurate IMO. Any good reliable wide band will use its own O2 sensor. The cheaper ones that piggy back of the wiring harness are not nearly as accurate and dont give real time readings.

Sound like a great recipe for a blown motor to me.

Biggest reason I would want to do OBD1 is to tune with boost by gear. Obd1 also has alot less bugs. A good tune is worth every penny. Luckily a good friend of mine happens to be a tuner.

My first LS/V was tuned on BRE through OBD0.

she is running pretty smooth soo far and i do beat the piss out of it .. i agree turbo edit is buggy but it's getting better pretty simple software for a noob like me ... just recently i threw on a smaller turbo and a cast iron manifold i like smaller better lol.. but not bad for a $1,800.00 budget (with car )

im not trying to get all negative and bash your beliefs in obd0, if your car is running good and strong all the more power to you.

but think of it this way, can you think of a "known" build (like magazine or shop car) that has a obd0 boosted honda.

Like i said, not saying that you are doing it the wrong way, but obd1 is a lot more reliable and with the software they have out now, going from obd0 to obd1 could mean easily 50hp...just something to think about

yup, i had a odo 0 DA boosted like 15 yrs ago before these chip ecu came out. I used to use check valves to read boost, before they came out with the missing link. Like everyone said obd1 has better software then the obd 0 .
