question...i know in v8 trannys we can change or swap out gearing........can we do this as well on honda trannys....for example taking an ls auto tranny and swapping just the gearing with a gsr gearing....but keeping it automtic....is this possible?

Nope automatics have a gear selector chip in them, even if you fit a gear in them you will throw a code from the ECU, and maybe throwout the gear. Swap to a manual if you want change your shift points.
