hey guys im looking to build a b series but im looking to go all motor non vtec, any one got some good suggestions, or some good reference websites for info.

pretty much what im looking for is a ballzy all motor b series with enough torque to take a muscle car out the hole, looking for time range around 12s.

good luck with building an all motor non-vtec motor that runs 12's... you are going to have to have some type of F/I in order to run 12's...running 12's requires a decent amount of HP

200whp and like 140ish tq...but thats with over 3K worth of port work done to the head

Ive seen a average of 150-175ish,More or so what type of chassis you looking to drop this motor in??Alot of varibles come into play when going all motor from what i have read.

Realistically you can hope to be somewhere in the 14's, low 15's if you have a heavy car, crappy tires, or can't drive. You will not run 12's on an NA non-vtec B-series swap.

^^ it also depends on the driver...i mean my b series (vtec) makes 200whp and 147 tq (in a DC) and i run consistent 13.8's or so

i would like to know the extent of that build to achieve those numbers...im sure there was a lot more $$ invested than the parts mentioned above

i agree with integraguy ther is something he is not telling us unless his dyno is way off i built many na/all motor ls's with similer parts and a veriation of other combination of parts the most ive hit was 180ish with comp at 11.5 and the head had a pnp with a 3 angle valve job flat valves id also like to know how u hitten 12.1 with itr pistons is the head milled alot with a single layer head gasket or what
