Okay, so i gave up on my ls build for now. It'll make a great turbo build one day. i got my grimey hands on a 2000 b16a2 from an si for CHEAP. I'm going to eventually turbo that. But I am going to be running it on an ls tranny for a while... Pro's? Con's? some input guys

That should be fine. The ls tranny has longer gears, so it will give the turbo more time to spool up. Where the si tranny has shorter gears and cause the motor to rev too quickly, giving hardly anytime to spool up. Get a gsr Tranny

i can tell you by experience... it will SUCK... off the line is horible... put it this way... a NON Vtec single cam will OWN u....

yea defently go with the gsr tranny the ls tranny is better for highway driving but if your gonna be running it at all ill tell you from experience ls tranny SUUUUCK,dont get me wrong it rips on 1st 2nd and 3rd pulls alright but as soon as u get into 4th it dies outs,i have a gsr tranny now and i raced my boy in his stock s2000 and when i had the ls i would pull about a car and a half on 1st and 2nd and 3rd and then he would just fly by me,and now with my gsr tranny i dont pull a car on him he pulls a half a car on me but we stay practically door to door all the way up to 5th
