With that you basically have to chip the ecu so you can tune the car. Slapping all the stuff on there without tuning is kind of worthless

I got mine chipped for $60 bucks. But then you have to pay for the tune unless you do it all yoruself.

s100 is a lot better than a "chip".

A chip on the internet that you find that claims to give you "extra horsepower" is crap. It does no tuning to your car what so ever so how could you have more horsepower? The s100 is pricier but there are cheaper alternatives to that as well.

If your car is obd 1 then yes, you can used it, if not convert the car to obd 1 and use the jumper harness then you can use a obd 1 ecu.

That might not be worth the trouble of going through for what you want to do. Might just want to look at an Apexi afc II controller. You wouldn't have to find a specific hondata tuner to tune with that as well.

u prolly have a PR4 OBD-0 ecu. one of the best bets if u want to get it tuned would be to either convert the whole car to OBD-1 and decied which tuning option u want to go for... or just get the OBD-0 to OBD-1 jumper harness and find the tuning option thats best for u.

correct me if im wrong but there are just so many more tuning options for OBD-1 compared to OBD-0

what do you mean convert "the whole car" over to OBD1? The only thing effected by OBD1 is the ECU, distributor and injectors...

There are a lot more tuning options for obd1 over obd0. It's whether he wants to go through with changing the ECU, dizzy, and injectors to get those options. With a pretty good build it is almost a must.
