hey i need a new head for my b18b and i was wondering which head i should go with...ive heard so many different stories about which one is better...the only thing i know is that the b20 has a bigger combustion chamber b/c of the bigger bore...if anyone has the cam specs and the duration for the cams, as well as which one is the best that would be sweet...also, can a b18b IM fit on a b20 head?

Also, if anyone has one for sale PM me...

thanks,

Integraguy04 :D

get a p75 head, they were founf on 94+ b18b's and 96+ b20's

the b20 with the larger combustion chamber is a p8r head and its only found on some motors from japan

Ok. All the non-vtec heads accept the same parts, with the only exception being the P8R. The P8R is a rare non-vtec with larger combustion chambers and larger valves. They all accept the same heeader, intake manifolds, and cams.

As far as what is best, that depends on what you plan to build, what you want to build it to do. In general it is easiest to use a P75 head on a b18. If you want to build a motor with a bigger bore than you would be better served with the P8R.
