im wondering if a pr4-4 head will work on a b18a1
also what performance will this add to my engine if so?
a friend n i are buidling two track integras a 94 rs and a 93 rs the 94 has the b18b1 duh n the 93 the a1 so we are wondering whats the best way to build power out of these engines for track n street use or should we just swap them out for something else? vtec? nos? turbo? what are your opinons on the matter?

the b18b1 has a cai and bolt on muffler
the b18a1 has a cai full exhaust 2 1/4" with header high flow cat n res

What kinda power you looking for? There are so many options out there. You said you wanted track cars what kinda track?

mostly roadcourse maybe some dragstip
im looking to get about 400 hp or so on the a1 im thinking turbo would be best?
and the b1 about 250 he just wants to be able to drive it on the highway and the track
the reason im going for more is cause i still wanna be able to put down on the strip and the roadcourse

yeah turbo is basically the only way ur gunna put down 400hp. for ur buddy with the 250hp, getting there all motor will be damn near impossible without thousands in machine work and building. so he should either go nitrous or push some boost.

What about a stroker kit along with alot of head work etc could you make close to 250?
im planning to storke the a1 and turbo it
the b1 is gunna stay non turbo so maybe spray

i think integraguy04 knows someone that did 3k in headwork and it was either at 200hp or maybe alittle over so if ure goin for 400 the best way to go is build the shit outta the bottom end and get a good quality turbo kit with ALOT of tunning

^ yea kingmotorsports did an all motor ls with about 3K worth of port work (pretty much flowed like a vtec head) and it made like 200whp or something...if you are looking to make over 190whp with a nonvtec b series motor you have three options...nitrous, supercharger, or turbocharger

hey i got a nx nos system for you 350 OBO and i got a skunk2 manifold 140 and crower stage 2 cams. used and i got brand new crower dual springs and brand new crower retainers. 350 also ls rods already milled for aftermarket pistons with arp rod bolts pressed in. 140 lmkkk 845-863-4572
