some asshole sold me a obd0 b18a1 siezed. then i bought a whole block/head crank, new pistons/rings, i had new camshafts, an a good head. rebuilt it, compression 228-232 in all cylinders. Then shit all started going wrong. I would buy a new motor, but i don't know where to get one reletively inexpensive, i live in connecticut.

sounding like a timing issue again. a cracked block or head should still give you good power till it warms up.

thinking a cracked head? block!? i adjusted the timing- runs wonerfully.... then warms up- looses oil pressure and idles horribly.

if it acts up after it warms up then it is one of the other. block or head. hope it be the head rather then the block.

i just had a ls vtec conversion With the B18a1 Block and B16 head it bogging down when i would hit the gas it would try to shut off when i hit the gas and my friends car was doing the same thing come to find out he had a d series ecu so i checked mine and i have a d series ecu as well i have a P06 b/c with the p06 my block threw a rod now i got a new block B18b1 Does and body kno what ecu i would need for ls vtec
