okay i have a built b18a head with crower valvetrain and 404's. I was wondering how much nitrous i could run safely on the motor. The Bottom end is a b18b i beam rods. i havent found a set of pistons for this set up.... any suggestions. I was thinking about ITRs but im not sure if the CTRs would work.????????????????????

I would just sav some money by going with the p30 pistons, it will bring your CR to about 11.6:1. But at that high of a CR with stock internals I wouldn't spary. If you want to spray at that high of a CR I would recommend forged internals & a good tune.

yes this will be my daily driver. we have already started to build the b18a head with all crower internals and a 3 angle valve job. 404 cams etc. the b18b bottom end have a balanced/blueprinted crankshaft and forged I beam rods. this is why im not sure what piston to use and where to find the forged verions of the itr/ctr/p30 :?:

(which ever is recommended). The car will be running hondata with the 2 settings for driving. i will drive daily mostly on all motor until friday and saturdays at the track (where spray will be used). so there is where ill use the hondata to run a new basemap for the nitrous. the car will be tuned as well. (of coarse :-D

i would get a forged set.. dont go over like 11.5:1 though... a lot of my friends run CP Pistons

cp forged pistons. don't go to high for compression because the boost doesn't like it as much. if you are looking to spray a little or a lot then a good tune is required or you shall be wiping up the parts.

I'm planning on going with probe pistons later in my build but right now my teg is basicly stock. But here's an article on pistons from team-integra enjoy. :livre

For now your better off just reading sections B(types of pistons) & F(questions for clarificatin) unless you want to read the whole thing.

definitely DO NOT use ctr pistons, they are horrible for combustion qualities, use forged if your using F.I.
