Quick question..is it worth it? will i gain much power with a good tune?

LS b18b sleeved block
with CP pistons 12.5:1 compression
LS head ported n polished
Brian crower stage 2 cams, along with springs n retainers


So far i have the sleeved block and the head ..skunk2 manifold and pistons.... i will hopefully run nitrous in the future
or should i just go boost?

is this gonna be street driven? you could get a more aggressive cam but it will hurt low end, but will see better gains up top

yea its for my daily driver thazz why i dont want my compression to high cuz i cant get race fuel every where

12.5:1 is pretty high, just so you know... however with a proper tune it can be ran on 91/93.

yea the local tuning shop is good with that,, my boys all motor ls/vtec is 12:1 and it was tuned by the local import shop..he uses 93octane from BP... which is wat im planin to use

Go with a stage 3 cam like the 404. It is daily drivable with a good tune. What are you planning on tuning the car with? I saw in another post you want 180 to the wheel. That has to be a real solid build n/a. If you want to boost then lower that compression.
