i have a pr4 head on my 96 ls block due to cracked valves i had it resurfaced new gaskets and arp head studs now leaking oil outta pass side front of head gasket... i used the gasket kit for a 96 should i have used it for a pr4 head or is there that big of a difference that it would cause it to leak... also ive been reading on ppl using copper spray gasket sealant on the gasket b4 installing all the help would be very helpful planning on ripping it apart this weekend thank you

It's no differents. How many ft-lbs did you torque the head down? And did you torque the head down in seqences?

Ya that's what I figured... ya I torqued it in sequence the studs didn't come with paper work so I called arp they said to torque it in 3 incriments the first 2 to the factory ones and then finish with 80 ft lbs... looks like maybe a faulty head gasket I'm gonna pick up a oem 1 this weekend and put it together... also has any1 ever put gasket sealer on it I read about ppl putting the copper spray mayb if I do that ill have better luck thank you for the help so far

The only time I used copper spray is with exhaust work. I would just use oem head gasket with no spray.
