My build so far is a B18B with I/H/E, Thinkin about underdrive pulley but not sure yet. I dont want nitrous or turbo im just lookin for low 15's in the 1/4. Its in a 94 Si Hatch so i was prolly high 15's stock lol, just lookin for some suggestions. I wanna put crower 403 cams in but never messed with a non-vtak valvetrain. Pointers on changing cams and valve springs?

nonvtec heads are a piece of cake to work on. buy a haynes manual and you won't have a problem. If you are going to change the cams yourself then you will be changing the valve springs as well. The best way to do this is to change them without taking the head off. Snap on sells a valve spring compressor just for the b18a/b head. It was $110 the last I looked but it is well worth it. Almost everything else will require you to take the head off which takes a good amount of time.

Make sure you check the bolts that hold down the cams, or any other hardware you constantly take on and off. Especially when you have to torque them. When I re-installed the cams the last time the bolts decided to start snapping off in the head. Never hurts to add new hardware every once and a while, could save you more money in the long run.

you should already be in the low 15s...I did 15.4(b18b) on a 00 GS with full leather interior, 17" rims, and intake/exhaust

If it was me and I was going to change the valvetrain I mnight just go ahead and pull the head (depending on the condition of the motor of course) and stuff some ITR slugs in it with some new rings. Your cams would like the compression boost. Of course if you are not doing this work yourself then you are talking about a lot more money to be paid out to a shop. I am sure you will like the cams reguardless though. :D

I think with some nitrous and a better geared trans you'd hit 15's...

and a good driver of course

Just order the genuine factory service manual.

easy mod, just make sure you are running a non-dented 4-1 header with 2.5 collector with a nice ecu and b16a trans with your same mods you have now, high 14s easily.
