G'day tech heads. i got a few questions regarding a B18B swap. i do know what a search button is, & believe me ive used it.

Now, i want to drop a B18B2 from a 99-01 integra GSi into my 00 EK1 Civic HB. i know whats needed, mounts, axels etc. I figure doing this swap also gives me an opportunity to upgrade the motor mounts. As my current D16 motor mounts are absolutely shagged, im looking at getting the Avid racing mounts. I figure since im swapping, i want as much useable power to the ground as possible. Ill have to get the softest bushes though, as its still my DD, & the misses uses it, DAMN!!

Anyway, my question is if im using the avid racing mounts (AC.MM.007), are they all the mounts i need? i will also be keeping ac & ps, i know ill need a new ac mount from a b16 delsol or b20 crv. Thanks in advance for any info...

im not sure with the part number...but the mounts you need is for a b series motor in an EK...but im sure you already knew that...

ever think of about getting hasport/innovative...they are a lot better quality

You can use the mounts from the Teg as well as the axles, you'll need the shift linkage and ECU too, other than that, everything that's on the B18 you can keep and use, power steering pump, starter, dizzy, intake, exhaust, possibly the wiring harness (make sure the OBD?, otherwise you can get an OBD? harness adapter fro ebay for like 20~30$)....ummm, ypu, that's about it, I dropped a B18C1 into my EG and she hauls ass bra...hehehe Cobra Killer!

cheers guys, i already know what i need & can use. what id like to know is, if i get the avid racing/innovative mounts for this swap, are there any other mounts ill need to get aswell besides ac? What im trying to say is can i just use the avidracing/innovative mounts for the swap?

You will need a 2000 civic si banana mount. You will need the mount that goes on the driver side that connects to the motor out of a 2000 civic si just the one that connect to the motor not the piece that connects to the mount and then the mount thats on the side. Im not sure if u will need that stuff if u use the avid mounts but will half to have if use stock mounts.

yeap, i know what mounts are needed if im using OEM mounts. the Avid racing & innovative sites both say these are replacement upgrade mounts for the 96-00 civic with d-series or b-series. HASPORT is a bit of of my price range. keep in mind guys im over in australia, & most of the parts im getting are coming from the usa, plus the exchange rate is not that crash hot atm.

ok, so now i have the actual motor mounts out of the way, its onto the PS & AC. I will use the PS pump that comes with the B18B engine. I have heard alot of stories about the AC, which has totally confused me.

I plan to keep all the AC parts that are on the car now. what do i need in order for this to run with the B18B?

Im also taking the old engine wiring harness out, & using an engine harness from a 99-00 VTi coupe (D16Y8). since im replacing old with new, can i fit the new harness without removing the dash?
