I have a 96 Integra. I am currently rebuilding the engine to handle more boost. This is my new set up.

CP pistons 81.5mm 9.0:1
Manley H beam rods
stock crank (balanced)
ACL race bearings and thrust washers
Golden Eagle block guard (welded in)
Cometics head gasket
ARP head studs
Fel-pro bottom end gaskets
stock valvetrain
T3/T04E Garrett turbo
XS Power 35mm wastgate
G reddy spec 2 boost controller
225 gph fuel pump

I have been running a cheater valve to the map sensor for a few years. This worked fine on the stock motor @ 8-10lbs. of boost. I know this is not the right way to do it. I was wondering what is the best way to do this?

What injectors should I run?

Is it safe to boost 20lbs. on this set up? (with proper tuning of course)

Should I switch to a chipped obd1 ECU, if so what ECU / chip should I use?

What kind of HP will I be looking at?

Any help I could get with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

for a boost setup, you should honestly get an engine management system that a turner near you can tune your car... you are located in green bay so i would get a hondata s300 and get it tuned by kingmotorsports in new berlin, wi. I would also go with 440cc injectors atleast...

also, if you want to make any real power with that setup, you should prolly get a decent cam and upgrade the valvetrain

I plan on upgrading the head next year. Im not very familiar with ECU set up. Will the hondadata s300 work with obd2? What am I going to need?

hondata has a release for the s300 for obd2...fyi it is really pricey...around 700 or so, but that is all kingmotorsports tunes with. they are prolly one of the top 3 honda tuning companies in north america. you can only go so far on the stock head for power... with stock sleeves you can prolly go to about the 350-400 mark. If you are planning on doing that i would go with injectors a lot bigger...prolly around 650cc's or so.

king charges around 600 to do a turbo setup tune. they are also very meticilious on how your car is when they dyno it. if everything is not exactly right, they will not tune it due to liability. make sure you also have a walbro 255 fuel pump as well.

20 lbs of boost would be unpractical and on stock sleeves somewhat unsafe.
i am a fan of chrome due to simplicity of program
and try to find a set of cams and upgrade valvetrain it will help a ton
