hey if any one could help me out i have a 90 integra and i have a b18b1. i just bought it and but it needs work. so far its gone along way but i havent made it 100% driveable. when it runs one of the injectors spits out fuel from the top. and it seems to idle high when i connect the main sensor. i do know the original motor was a b18a1. since i have a b18b1 would the make a difference with manifold?

the manifolds between both those motors are different...which one do you have on it now?

the fuel rail might not fit correctly if the manifolds are different. Maybe it is a busted injector. Are the seals good when it enters the intake manifold where the injector spits the gas out?

i have the manifold on that belongs to the b18b1, but i also have the manifold that belongs to the b18a1... but it seems to have trouble idling. when i put it in gear to reverse it strugles. and when i rev it and take it around the block i hit about 90mph but when i let go of the gas it dies. so i was thinking if i could put the manifold the belongs to the b18a1 maybe it would breath better. what do yall think?
ps. i fixed the leaking fuel injector.

well i mean the b18a manifold is the one that comes on the DA stock... it prolly has to do with the vaccum lines

ok. what about the wiring harness? is there i difference between the b1 and a1? cause one of the sensors is not connected and its the one thats on top of the throttle body. thats probably my problem why is not staying on to idle...

Is it on top of the throttle body or the intake manifold? The tps (throttle position sensor) is attached to the throttle body with two screws. The MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor sits on the intake manifold. Also check the IACV valve that sits on the back of the manifold.

ok that leads me to another question. there is absolutly no sensors on top of the manifold. there are two sensors that sit on top of the throttle body. the one that sits directly on top of the TB which im guessing is the TPS sensor. and the other sits to the left of the TB which im guessing is the MAP sensor. now plz correct me if im wrong...

The MAP sensor should be the grey plug in sensor that has three wires attached to it. and the tps sensor is the black one that is mounted with two screws to the throttle body. I think that is right and someone please correct me if I am wrong, if you go out and buy a haynes manual for your car ($20 at advanced) it will tell you the exact location.
