Wow after reading this again, I'm surprised how much of a noob I was and probably still am.

I sold the head and have yet to start over on this build but I'm still doing a b18b1. I did a few track events this past year and I had to put suspension ahead of motor since my car was practically falling apart in the bushings deparment. All new hardrace bushings where sourced and I pressed those in. The difference is night and day. It was hard putting the motor aside for suspension but I have to say it was well worth it. Not only did I change all bushings but I also bought all brand new bearings, front tie rods and sway bar brackets & bushings aswell.
One thing I'd like to clear up for the motor build. Does anyone know if I could use the smaller GSR rod bearings on LS rods?
Meanwhile I have updated the OP with my newly revised plans after a year of research!

I'd also like to figure out exactly what cams to go with. BC 0022 to keep it simple but could I successfully use BC 0023s with a 11.5:1 CR and 91 Oct? Or do the Stge 3's require race fuel 100 Oct and higher CR to use their true potential?
