All I ever wanted from age 16 was an Integra. At age 17, I wanted a GS-R. At age 18, I wanted a JDM front. At age 19, I wanted a turbo. At age 20, I realized that it's time. So here it goes, years of my life into one green machine...

I've bounced back and forth between so many ideas for my car, and my last one was RSX seats and I even had them in my living room but was able to seal a killer deal with the seller of...

Slight hurdles that I will have to overcome include retaining the USDM rebar and clearing the HID ballasts with the 94-97 ABS pump, as well as having my frame ever so slightly straightened.

My car was once minter than a candy cane, and I really look forward to seeing what I can make of it. The front will stay unpainted for now because my bigger priority is to get boosted by my 21st birthday (in April), by DontBlink at Hybridynamics.

Any questions, comments, concerns? Have a good day! [:^:][/quote]

Four options, in order of likelihood

1) extend wires on HID's
2) relocate ABS pump
3) switch to 98+ ABS pump+computer
4) remove ABS altogether

I am not tampering or letting ANYONE tamper with the ABS in my car, so I will just extend the wiring. Between my best friend and I, we've got about 25 years of geekery, my search abilities and his 5 years with his own Integra so electronics and the like are going to be one of the most fun parts of this project

I don't know anymore... In the past few days, I've seen some gorgeous pictures of green 4-doors and feel like my car needs paint before power. My major consideration is that it will be much easier to insure my car under my own name if it's a looker rather than a booker... My mom's policy hella hates me, and I just don't think Geico would fall for my 53-year-old mother saying that she has an affinity for blowoff valves

For the record, I was aiming for a good 300whp and didn't have plans laid on paper as I've always been one to research everything way before it happens, but one of my good friends from Team-Integra is a top notch builder in PA. I was looking at the GT2876R because it's quick on the spool, but I'm pretty sure I'm the most indecisive girl in the history of the world... so now I'm looking at paint colors but I'm pretty sure I'll flip-flop on that eleventy times too...

why would the insurance company care if you have your car turboed, how would they even know. if your mom claims you as a dependant and you live at home theres no reason that she cant just add you to your insurance.

anyway if you do go with a GT series thats a pretty fancy turbo but keep in mind that the ball bearing center section is not rebuildable. you certainly dont need a $1200 turbo to get 300hp.

theres nothing wrong with having a nice paint job other than worrying that youll get a paint chip.

im pretty indicisive too so ive explored plenty of options for my integra. none the less welcome and good luck with your build. :D

1) I want my car insured for what it's worth.
2) My crazy days ARE the reason that she can't add me back...
