Hey guys Iam planning on doing some work to my B20 head.Just keep in mind i ownly want to spend about $1200

403 cams,spring & retainers,values,Intake & Exhaust is what I plan on doing.

But my question is do I have to get cam gears?

Is Values spring and retainers a must with the 403 because iam not plaining on rev higher.

An is there anything else that I need to know or need?

Oh ya what are the mpg yall are getting with the 403 cams?

Thank you guys

Getting cam gears are probably a good idea. I know 404's require upgraded valve train. As far as 403's, I don't see why it'd be a bad idea.

Thanks for the advice but wouldnt the only way to tune the engine is with adjustable cam gear?

With cam gears you tune the cams, not the entire engine.

You use something like hondata or neptune to tune the engine
