I have a 99 b20b. When I got the motor i put new belts on the power steering and the altenator. I found a set of used aem pulleys for the power steering and altenator. I spent 40 dollars on the 2 belts and threw away the boxes they came in so now I can't take them back. Is it worth the extra money to buy the pulleys and just get different belts? If I do buy these then I was thanking about putting the bomz racing crank pulley on it at the same time. The only bad thing about the bomz pulley is that it dosent have the timing marks so it would be a pain to do the timing (putting the stock one on then changing back out) but is it worth it? I was told that a lightened crank pulley hurts the oil pump is that true. Another question I had should I put a lightened fidanza flywheel on it. I also was told that putting this on the motor makes you lose on the top end and some torqe is this true? Thanks for the help :)

Okay im not going to waste my time on the pulleys, but do you think it would be good to put the fidanza flywheel on.

depends on how you look at it...lightweight flywheels cannot be resurfaced so once it is in ur car it has to stay that way and discarded if you get a new clutch... however, having a lightweight flywheel does made the car rev faster and get to ur top power quicker

the b20 has the potential to make more power...the b20 lacks hp, but has more torque...hp sells cars, torque wins races

thats what i mean, the b18 isnt far behind it, why buy a b20 when you got 5 less lbs of torque? b18<b20? i thought the walls were weak in the b20? compared to the b18.... trying to decided on what build to do, so many options,,,
