I took off from a red light and went to shift into third the gear grinded as normal, but it took a little more effort to get into gear. I didn't force it, but like I said it took some extra effort than normal. When I went to shift into fourth I was not able to at all. I pulled to the side of the road and tried to get it into gear. It wouldn't go. I turned the car off and put it into gear without a problem. When I turned the car on it started as normal, but began to roll as if I was lifting my foot off the pedal. I made it home, but it was difficult to shift. I can put the car in the desired gear without the motor running but as soon as I turn the car on it pulls. I rolled it up my driveway in reverse with my foot all the way on the floor. Any advice anyone

bleed/adjust your clutch (dunno if you have a cable or hydraulic tranny) is the first thing i would do . . . if that doesn't work something is wrong with your pressure plate and/or clutch disc

I've adjusted it over 10 times now. It works good for about an hour or 2 then it acts up again. Must be my plate and or clutch disc then. I have a cable tranny.

might want to throw in a new clutch cable while your at it. i think there like 50 bucks new, and looks really simple and easy to change out.

I only have short shifter, intake, header, and exhaust. I dont think i'm going to end up doing any mods to my motor unless I get a brand new b18a cylinder head.

i would go with a clutch either from Clutch Masters, Exedy, or ACT and nothing above a stage 1 if you are not doing anything major on the engine such as turbo.

ive prolly said this already in this post as well as many others. when it comes to internals weither its transmission or engine. go with a compnay that knows there shit. it is not cheap to have to swap out a clutch or flywheel 4 months after you just had them put in. also if lets say you get the zoom clutch. how do you know they test there stuff. what if it explodes or something. it will prolly take out your transmission case, and if the car gods really dont like you. a chunk of your block or punch a hole in it..spend the extra money to know that your getting the best. act spins there flywheels to 15k rpms. exedy is made by diakin wich makes like 90 percent of oem clutchs..

i recently replaced my clutch too if you have resurfaced your flywheel or baught a new flywheel with your clutch then the surface to your flywheel is already flat but i usually drive it for like 3 days and test from 2nd to to 3rd but its just me.
