Hey everyone its Shawn. I'm building a H22a1 block for turbo into 94 EG. And i would like some help with main and rod bearings. I've had the mains aline honed. Here's my queston. What size ACL bearing should i get? Standard .25 over or .50 over? Also does anyone know what the measurments of each are?

Thanks, Nonvtec forever...

the best way would be 2 plasti guage the crank with the bearings as per the fsm your best bet is to down load a copy of it and go from there it has all the measurements u will need.

I always prefer to use OEM bearings, cuz the sizes are stamped on the block and shit...

but plasti-gauging is your only option at this time, well aside from taking it to a machine shop or someone who assembles engines...

If your really unsure, you could have taken the crank to the machine shop to gauage it for you so you can purchase the right bearing the first time.
