Bodykits look pimp if done right, but they are a real drag if you like to drive careless like I do. Forget about hitting speed bumps at 30mph, going up driveways, and hitting the parking break when turning. My body kit, which i paid over 1k for blew up to shreds when i was going downhill and miss judged the dip at the end. :banghead. I rather just get a lip kit from ebay and rattle can it a few times a year. ;) It looks just as good.

Only if you are going over 150mph will a body kit make a difference. They are just for looks. You are better off spending your money on suspension and brakes.

agreed with civic97. spending money in a body kit for a street ride is a waste of money imho. it'll be better spent in brake, suspension or engine parts.

body kits can make you look fast, but withou an engine to back it up, is worthless.

body kits can make your ride look slammed but without the proper suspension it'll be a waste.

Lip kits are the way to go, they give a clean semi stock look. Body kits are too flashy and too much flash attracts thieves... no one likes a thief.

Body kits with chicken wire grills and under glow kits may have been cool in 2003 but have surely faded, i personally enjoy the look of lowered with a factory lip kit from overseas clean and simple!
