wat is the difference between a regular boost gauge and a electric full sweep boost gauge???

the electric boost guage or @ least the one i installed has its own map sensor and suto calabates (sp) each time u start the car so different altitudes and what not wont afftect the reading nor will it just being out of cal like most are from the factory. Now you will need 2 hook it up a proper power source when you start the car or it will cal with vac on the motor (did this the first time and was reading like 15psi of boost instead of like 8 lol)

one costs 4 times what the other one does, lol. Keep it mechanical. Its not like you're gonna be racing up any mountains any time soon right? Save money, time to install, and don't rely on you electical system for more than illumination (its bad enough already, lol, j/k).

i would suggest keeping it mechanical its less strain on the pockets!! lol
