well im thinking of sanding my car part by part so i can send it to the body shop to get sprayed so what excatly are the steps..

do i wash car
then clean with degreser and wax remover
then dry sand
220,320,400,
wetsand
600,800,1000
clean with degreaser
and im done??

any help... i wanna paint my car before i do any kind of engine work on it

That looks about right but no real need to clean with degreaser after you are done sanding. Just cleaning off the dust will be fine. Since you are the one doing the sanding, you have to make it perfect before it goes because primer only covers up so much. Sanding sucks.

where are you located maybe you could bring the car by our shop and we could take a look at it just tryin to get our name our there!!!! and show that we do quality work
