push it till it pops then back off a few psi hehe

it has alot more to do with the quality of your cooling system, the quality of your tune and the size of your compressor. ive seen people put up some pretty increadible numbers on stock b20 blocks on HT.

BTW cams will really help you make more power with a turbo. crowers turbo grind works real well.

yea i was thinkin around 7 psi, as for cooling system i have a c&r racing full length radiator followed by a fan that flows 50% more CFM than stock, the turbo is a t3/t4...i was thinking of getting a basemap on crome at first and then getting a s300 or somethin

i prefer b18b over b20 for boosting if i was keeping the stock sleeves. b20 sleeves are not the strongest in the world. but up to 10 psi is fine though. just dont get trigger happy with the boost controller, lol. :D

The pressure really isn't the killer on those thin walled blocks. Its the tune and charger size that ultimately determines the limitations. With a good tune and timing nearly perfect I could see 12 pounds being fine as long as the fuel system could handle it. The charger size is an area that is often overlooked 8 pounds on an eBay T3/T4 is alot different than 10 pounds on a Garret GT35R. Different turbos flow differently. Smaller turbos spool up quicker but don't produce the same amount of CFM's as larger ones and to the contrary larger ones do not spool up as fast but produce more CFM's. Thats why there are hybrids;the attempt to get the best of both worlds.
So determine what size turbo you want for whatever your ideal goal is and go from there.

That is a very attainable goal. I hate when people say stuff like I have a stock B20. How do I get to 400HP with a shoe string and a jar of pickles?

You can get to 250 relatively easy with a good tune and I would imagine it'd be pretty damn reliable.

just so you know...there is a guy on honda tech that started out with a bone stock b20 running 13lbs low boost and 15lbs high boost and his car was crazy fast. his name on h-t is slotec, he had his tuning done by MATT SHUE out of VA. his current setup is stock bottom b20b with 98 itr head running 17lbs, if you search b20 turbo on youtube you can see him running his car. there are also plenty of people on h-t that are running stock sleeved b20 motors and boosting over 15lbs and have been running like that for years. the nonvtec member AROD made 600hp on stock sleeved b20....

there is alot to factor in but the main thing is to make sure you get a damn good tune...
you will hit the 250 spot for sure though... good luck
