Do you have the cash to tune it? I would think an LS would be safe on 10 psi... maybe 14 w/water/meth injection and a really good tune.

Lastly, if you can't afford to build it, then don't boost it.

i was thinking of changing the head studs. but i didnt know if it would ba a main necessity right now considering i am going to build later. right now funds aint to great still have to pay off court system. i can get a tune though. if really needed. i only drive the car a total of 6 miles round trip to work and back. thats it. i also have a b16 tranny on car. would that create another problem there?

Tune and boost are synonymous. There's no way around it. You boost, you tune. They go hand in hand.

If you want it to be reliable and not cost a fuckton, then do it right, do it once. Don't boost, at least not until its a piston/rod motor.

If you insist on boosting. Use ARP headstuds and get it fucking tuned. Don't skimp.

The B16 trans will not negatively effect you.

Yeah My boy is still in town but I think he's heading to the beach soon. He'll be glad to tune it for you.
