Anyone hear about the "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" advertising campaign that caused the mess in Boston?
I think it is bullsh*t how overblown this has become. Its crazy how a bunch of lite-brites can be mistaken by professionals for explosive devices. I think the whole event is a real punchline for the times. I wish those fools (the local authorities) would take it less seriously, but I guess now they have to cover up their mistakes by overtly prosecuting the guys who installed the graffiti.

Anyways, I found this modified version of the "Mooninite" who was depicted in the litebrites. Maybe someone else will get a kick out of it too:

and i have no idea what it says, so maybe i should change it to a fun english phrase:

also, some other people are cashing in. not only can you buy the devices on ebay now ($400-$500 'natch), but some folks are selling T-shirts about it:

any thoughts? Have you seen Aqua Teen Hunger Force? It's a funny show. Not as good as Space Ghost was, but...

"I hope you can see this because I'm doing this as hard as I can"

Yeah, all in all i'd say it was a successful marketing campaign. Heck, i'll probably even pay to see the movie :)
