No but if you have a B18a and a B20B or Z you could use the water pump and timing belt because they are the same as the Vtec on all the newer B-series. Thats what I'm doing. Aside from boring the B18A out and using the B20 pistons there's not much internal you can do

your thinking of the oil pump...

i dont know why theres so much confusion about timing belts and waterpumps...

What about the valve cover? The B20 valve cover looks better than mine. Could I use it without any problems?

Yes, you can!!!! I love the "B20" valve cover. It also came all on 96+ LS motors.

Actually, in truth all 96+ oil pumps are the same. Its the earlier years that sorta jumped around. The odd ball of them is the 92-93/94-95 GSR engines...

90-95 (LS') Have a different oil pump than 96+. Check it out.

90-93 Integra B18A1 (LS) - 15100-PR4-A03
94-95 Integra B18B1 (LS) - 15100-PR4-A03

92-93 Integra B17A1 (GSR) - 15100-PR3-024
94-95 Integra B18C1 (GSR) - 15100-PR3-024

96-01 Integra B18B1 (LS) - 15100-P72-A01
96-01 Integra B18C1 (GSR) - 15100-P72-A01

yeah i know that, basically someone found out that b20's came with "mad tyte type R" oil pumps in them and since everyone was just blindly recommending ordering typeR oil pumps on builds people were like oh snap its got an awsome oil pump stock. but then people started finding out that the b20 isnt special, honda just basically upgraded all the b series oil pumps after 96 wich is when the b20 first came out.

this apparently crossed with the whole "wich timing belt and water pump do i use?" quesiton that seemed to come up constantly. for some reason people couldnt understand the concept of just match the timing belt to the water pump.

its unfortunate that people will say something on the internet and everyone just assumes it has to be gospel truth. theres so much confusion because some dumbass will spout out incorrect information. (im not calling anyone here a dumbass BTW)

They say the 96+ oil pump flows a higher volume of oil

Here's the part number 15100-P72-A01, ORDER AWAY!!!

I ordered a B20B from H-Motors online. It was out of a 00 CRV and The timing belt was in pretty bad shape so I got another one for an LS from a friend. It wouldn't fit and as it turned out the water pump on the B20 has 22 teeth just like the GSR. As I was researching it though the part numbers for the nonvtec's are all P75. So I stand corrected.

http://hybrid.honda-perf.org/tech/b20/b20tech.html

The B20Z came in the 99-01 CRV's,. the B20B came in 97-98 CRV's (in the states)

If the belt was OEM, it should have had either a P72 or P75 on it somewhere.

STOCK here is Honda's part number for a 2000 B20B's water pump 19200-P75-003. So, I'm not sure why it would have been a 22t...

yeah dude, if you go to honda and order a waterpump and timingbelt for a b20 they will give you P75 (LS) parts. both the LS and b20 timing belt are 125ru26 and a gsr belt is 126ru26. part numbers for ls/b20 waterpumps are the same.

B20Z2 came in the 99-01 and B20B4 in the 97-98. Mine is a B20B thats it. It is a JDM motor without the knock sensor so the lower compression one. And the timing belt was in bad shape because it had been rubbing the timing cover and the whole fisrt layer was gone. I just assumed it was just like the LS, a P75. I was wrong though. I wouldn't think the JDM motors would come with something like that but I could be wrong yet again.

Flywheels are the same, you need to match the clutch kit to the transmission.

You'll be good.

Yeah I know you weren't calling me out I was just saying my experience. I researched parts numbers once and they came back, or so I thought, with the newer B-series having the same pumps and timing belts. But after you said something I decided to check again and it came back like what you said. I don't know why mine had those on there it might be something with JDM motors although I can't imagine that.
