Ok first off im new, so i appreciate constructive criticisms. I am currently building a b18b1, and im trying to make a pretty nasty all motor car. here are the parts im throwing together.

wiseco forged 12.4:1 cr std bore, eagle forged h-beam connecting rods, skunk2 pro b-series manifold, 70mm blackworks throttle body, buddyclub racing spec dual valve springs, buddy club racing spec head gasket (0.5 mm thickness), and arp head studs. also the head will be gasket matched and mildly ported.

i have stock valves and retainers, stock crank, stock cams, stock exhaust, stock injectors, stock tuning.

this setup is in a 91 civic SI ED hatch. obd0 ecu and sensors.


my main question is what i can/should expect hp wise. i plan on getting at least the exhaust stuff taken care of.

i really need to know if i am going to bend some valves or if my clearance will be sufficient with both stock cams, and perhaps brian crower stg 2 cams.

I think also i want to spray but maybe down the road. i know i could get a billion hp with boost but i want to be all motor for now without boost.

any help would be greatly appreciated and recommendations for maybe a mild cam setup.

almost forgot i also have a 7.5lb fidanza flywheel.

u will not have any clearence issuse but to be absolute u should clay your engine also with that much cc pump gas might be out of the question if i were u i would back the cc down a bit like 11's in that ball park and get some 404's it is a mild cam and u can tune out the idel not that it is bad with out a tune but is deff tunable but that is just my 2 cents

well ive seen a few vids on youtube about guys running vtec with like 14:1 cr and they never say if its on pump gas, i know its possible to run pump on less than 13 with good tuning, but ill just have to see how it works out, u have any idea on what numbers i might make with stock cams?

Why would you run stock cams? You already put that much into the bottom end, so finish the package & get some cams,valvetrain & a good tune.
