I have a ported ls head and im getting crower 402 cams. would i need to upgrade the valve springs and all that good stuff or will i be safe if i dont upgrade the valve springs and such?

thanks any input is good.

Which ones are they?

62402 Stage 1

or

62402-T Stage 2


If they are the Stage 1's you should be alright with stock valve train, however why wouldn't you wanna switch anyway? saves you trouble down the road.

If they are the Stage 2's, then Crower says that kit #84162 is required.
