I'm on a tight budget but I'm sick of monster-trucking around town on my stock springs. Anyone know a decent set of springs, like on ebay, that would lower me 1.5-2" but not be too stiff? This is my daily driver, so I really want to preserve as much ride comfort as possible... I was thinking about replacing my stock struts (after the new springs blow them) with the KYB AGXs. I heard they were surprisingly good for the price. Any input would be appreciated!

Kyb Agx struts are good, they are stiff at first but provide good cornering. Tokico blues are another good option that are around the same price. For springs eibachs are good

Yeeah, I was thinking "cheap" as in "under 50 dollars." The Eibachs look nice, but I can't justify spending hundreds of dollars on such a simple component that can't even be adjusted.

well its like this, if you want a bouncy, crappy handling, cheap spring go with the ebay ones. i have these on my crx (not by choice car came with them) and it handles like shit!!!! and i even have tokico blues on it. i wouldnt recomend em. dont cheap out. if you want good adjustable springs get skunk2 or some other name brand spring. SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR THE GOOD STUFF.

Yeah cheap ebay springs are really bouncy but handle well. I have some on my 98 civic now. I am planning on switching to Megan Racing lowering springs soon.
