what year B18B did you put in your car? is the motor OBD0, 1, or 2? what about your car?

if you're running your stock OBD0 or 1 ECU on a newer B18B motor, that's probably your problem...I know adding I/H/E will make the computer run a bit rich, but to the point of almost not being able to idle is a bit much.

be careful man heavy overfuelling will thin your oil, and could cause bearing damage :soupir

I dont see how running rich will result in bearing failure or thin oil for that matter.

When a car is running rich it can result in excessive smoke and/or ring failure due to insufficient oiling on the cylinder walls... Remember fuel doesnt normally get a chance to enter the crankcase just the combustion chamber.

Have you checked timing, etc? Check to make sure all your injectors are firing and are not just stuck open.

you converted your b18b1 to run as a obd1 by swapping out the intake mani. and sensors. is that right? hav you checked your timing, it might be off alittle.
