i was wondering if i cut of the piece that covers my cam gears on my valve cover if it would damage anything or should i just leave it?

I'm sure the car has a nice personality but umm looks help too. It's like a female, who wants a cool chick that's ugly? Not me I gotta be able to sport her. Cutting it doesn't harm it at all but it does make it look good.

i cut mine just enough to make adjustment on my crower adjustable cams. i'll be putting a cover later on becuz u don't want anything falling in there.
