what do you guys think of these cams on a fully bult ls head. crane 101-0020.... let me know got these now instead of the 404 crower's....

they are big. one of the biggest off the shelf cams you can get for our motors. hope you know what your doing :wink:

They are big cams so you will have to have upped compression and some hella tuning

hes got a setup like mine so it could support them BUT i would expect a min 1200rpm idle maybe 1400-1500 would be stable and no lowend to speak off. look at b19coupes dyno on honda-tech. he compared a dyno of the 405a's (close to the #20 cranes) vs 403's on a built 2l non vtec. i would guess 404's would land right between the 2 dynos for comparison sake.

i belive the OP already has 404's so given a head than can support it i would guess they would make 10hp more peak power with about 500 more rpm compared to 404's. and the tradeoff obviously would be an idle over 1k and crappy low end.
