Was putting together my somewhat built ls and went to put the harmonic balancer and noticed it was chipped. I am wondering if I should get a new one or not since I don't want anything bad to happen to this motor. It is on the powersteering lip that it has a chunk missing out of it.

me personally i would just get a new one...mine was chipped and it can throw it off...if the chip is really small them i wouldnt worry about it

Anyone make a decent aftermarket one or just oem. Do they come with just the alternator rib instead of with ac, and ps?

OEM CTR n1,...thats what I have, just the alt rib b/c my CRX has no ac and p/s

yea its an OEM CTR...they go for like 70-75 brand new...ill give it to your for 50...it was only on my car for about 3 months

I got mine for like 65$ shipped off eBay in the OEM Honda package never opened. My b18a1 in the CRX with ITR flywheel and CTR crank pulley revs ALOT quicker than my b18b1 with p/s,a/c,and stock flywheel

Unorthodox or CTR pulley are great upgrades for the price
