can i still use the same cyl head bolt or they have to be replace after they have been removed cause brand new are kind of expencive the dealer want 20 bucks for each one and arp are like 145 bucks for the set :fi

OEM bolts i wouldnt...arp/golden eagle ones you could use again...i just wouldnt recommend using them more than 2 or 3 times

stock bolts stretch and really shouldn't be used again. ARP may be pricey but would you rather drop the money for the head studs or pay more money when you mess something else up

Definitely do not reuse the stock bolts. Just spring for a set of ARP. According to Mike Laskey, ARP told him that the studs can be reused many times (more than 10) and actually get stronger each time they are used.

Uhm you can reuse them. Probably not a good idea, but per a customers request we reused them on their car and to our knowledge it's still running and driving just fine.

They can be reused. Reusing them once is the abso. max you should try. If you follow the loosening sequence and back them out 5-10 ft. lbs at a time they will probably be alright.
